TRUNG HIẾU

Production associate 2016

Senior Manager – Uniqlo Production

Automatic Control, Hanoi University of Science and Technology

The Associate Programme brings me a clear & fast-track career path where I am always encouraged to explore and expand my capability.

It shows me that there is no limit to what I can do, even though I was a fresh graduate with limited experience. Thanks to the opportunity to work and lead my team on the front line very early on, I gained deep understanding about Production, both in terms of technicality and people management.

Crystal International makes sure that we grow not only in terms of work, but the most important thing is that we develop as strong and well-rounded Future Leaders. We are given plenty of opportunities for overseas exposure, cross-functional training and factory-level project implementation, all of which are unique experiences that helps me gain a big picture overview of the business that I otherwise would not have.

As my favorite quote says – “It never gets easier, you just get stronger” – The Associate journey is no doubt a challenging and tough one, so if your goal is to become a strong Leader, this is the journey for you.

HENRY

Production Associate 2018

Manager – Sports Production

Control Engineering and Automation, Hanoi University of Science and Technology

This programme is a truly comprehensive development journey, building a broad set of skills—especially leadership capabilities. It gives us the opportunity to work with, learn from, and be mentored by highly experienced experts in the industry. Through CAP, we are able to unlock our potential and accelerate our career growth in meaningful ways.

One of my most memorable experiences was the stage reviews with senior leaders, including Division President Mr. Eddie Lo. Their feedback offered powerful insights into what we needed to improve. Among the many lessons, the one that shaped me the most is the importance of root cause analysis—understanding the real root of a problem before deciding on any solution.

With consistent support from factory leaders and mentors, my career progressed far quicker than I expected. After seven years, I was promoted to Production Manager—a milestone I would not have reached so early without the foundation built through CAP.

What makes this growth even more meaningful is that my university background had little connection to my current role. I chose CAP because I wanted to become more open, dynamic, and capable of managing people. CAP gave me the environment to grow, the right mentors, and exposure to real operational challenges. It has transformed me—both personally and professionally—and opened a promising career path filled with purpose and direction.

Before joining the programme, I was shy and anxious about speaking in front of groups. CAP gave me the space to practice, gain confidence, and improve steadily. Today, I feel completely at ease presenting and communicating in front of many people—something I once thought impossible.

To future Associates: Be diligent, stay curious, and pay attention to the smallest details. These habits build the confidence you’ll need for the long journey ahead. The path will have challenges, but always remember the reason you started.

Technical Associate – Industrial Engineering 2019

Manager – Lifestyle & Sweater Product

Construction Economics, Danang University of Science and Technology

Joining the company 3 years ago, every moment has been absolutely valuable for me.

With a very clear and fast-tracked programme – “high way or way”, it really pushes me forward with very high concentration so that I can achieve the first big milestone after 2.5 years

Look back the path that I have been so far, I feel so privileged to have opportunities developing myself not only about technical skills but other than that is about leadership skills – it’s such a comprehensive development. Of course, during the time, there were a lot of ups and downs, but with many coaching sessions, reviews, guidance from top management I really got the chances to reflect, improve and from time to time, my mindset and maturity has been sharpened so that I can get myself ready for next challenges ahead. Being a part of Crystal Group and Associate programme, no words can express my gratefulness and sincerity with the chance given. I am very happy and proud to be a little part on the way of “helping the best become better”

PAIGE

Technical Associate – Industrial Engineering 2022

Assistant Manager – Sweater Product

Garment Technology, Ha Noi University of Science & Technology

I would describe CAP as a fast-track program that accelerates both personal and professional growth by exposing Associates to diverse projects and challenges.

One of my fondest memories was having the opportunity to work with the Nike customer on a manufacturing modernization project, which gave me valuable insights into global standards and best practices across factories worldwide.

Through CAP, I significantly improved my presentation skills, developed agility in learning new knowledge, and broadened my understanding of project management. These skills have been instrumental in my career progression. CAP supported my growth by building confidence, enhancing problem-solving abilities, and preparing me for leadership roles.

My journey from an Associate to my current position as Assistant Manager of the Sweater IE team—managing IE teams in RG1, RG3, and CSVL factory—has been challenging yet rewarding. I am grateful for the strong support and knowledge-sharing culture within my factory, which helped me overcome obstacles and succeed.

For current and prospective Associates, my advice is to stay curious, embrace every learning opportunity, and never hesitate to ask for support. It is a challenging journey but also an opportunity for young people to fail fast, learn fast, and grow fast.

To me, the Crystal Associate Programme is a comprehensive journey that gives young people the chance to try, learn, and truly thrive. CAP is more than a development programme—it’s a platform that pushes you to grow into the leader you want to become.

What makes CAP special is the community. From associate gatherings and team-building activities to the unforgettable yearly charity trip, these experiences help shape both your skills and your values. They teach you that leadership also comes from empathy and connection.

CAP is a place that allows you to fail, learn, and connect with some of the most experienced professionals in the industry. It encouraged me to explore what I really want and align my future vision with my current role. My advice for future Associates: absorb as much knowledge as you can—and invest even more effort in building meaningful relationships.

And for TA-IE:
Be the innovators, not the storytellers.
Don’t just describe problems—solve them.

CAP gave me clarity, confidence, and a strong professional network. If you’re ready to challenge yourself and grow faster than you imagined, CAP is the right place to start.
